While the Apollo software focuses on keeping the pen in the animator’s hand, the X-keys provides needed shortcuts for things like switching characters and scenes.  Watch closely and you will see the artist making selections on the X-keys as part of his workflow.

While Dreamworks has developed their own custom in-house software, X-keys can trigger shortcuts to control any software which accepts hot keys. 

Our relegendable keys allow you to create your own label for each dedicated key so you spend less time searching through menus or shortcut lists and more time focused on the artistry of animation.
